The NCHE annual conference is designed to serve the people of North Carolina and beyond in their journey of parent-directed home education. The event is for everyone, from new parents just exploring education alternatives to home education veterens.  Homeschool veterans, whose children have all graduated, as well as homeschool alumni attend, as all are part of the wonderful diversity of the people in the home education community.  Given the diversity of the community, NCHE tries its best to offer a variety of registration and pricing structures to accommodate the people we serve.

Homeschool Alumni

This registration is for those who have graduated from their homeschool (and are not yet parents themselves). We love having you with us! If you volunteer to serve at the conference, you can attend for free. First, you fill out the registration form or have your parents add you to their form. You will pay $15, and if you serve at the conference (2 hours per day that you attend or 6 hours for the entire weekend), you will be reimbursed your registration fee. When you first arrive at the conference, ask for your “volunteer verification form.”

NCHE invites grandparents to atttend the conference for free. If you are a grandparent, and you are not also homeschooling, you can come to the conference for free. You can either fill out the registration form yourself, or have your children add you to their registration.

Single Parent Scholarships
We have a limited number of scholarships available which allow free registration to the conference for qualifying single parents. To apply for this scholarship or to donate to the Single Parent Scholarship Fund, start here
