ACCHE (Alamance County Christian Home Educators)

ACCHE is made up of families who enjoy getting together on a regular basis for activities and educational opportunities.  We average around 200 member families each year with children of all ages.

ACE Academy (Alternative Christian Educators)

For ages K-12; provide play days, field trips, co-ops, special events, moms' night out, dads' night out, teen and middle school nights. We take up to 45 families with a fall and spring co-op. Most of our kids are in the middle school range. We do have a statement of faith that we review with our potential members.

Adventures Homeschool Group

Our activities are best suited for elementary aged children with some events for children of all ages. Events include fun field trips, group hikes, play dates, volunteer opportunities, and much more. We welcome all homeschoolers regardless of race, religion, handicap, or political affiliation. We are located in Alamance County. Families from surrounding counties are welcome to join as well.

Our fun-filled year runs from January to December. It is only $10 to join.

AGAPE

AGAPE stands for Acting on God's Authority as Parent Educators. We are a group that seeks to please our Lord Jesus Christ as we teach our children at home. We meet at Grace Baptist Church on Haywood Rd in West Asheville, the first Monday evening of each month. (The 2nd Mondays of Sept and Jan, due to holidays.)

We have workshops each month that address a wide variety of needs, as expressed by our members. We also offer mentoring relationships for newer homeschoolers, and encouragement for all of our members.

Agape Leadership Development

To provide Christian support through fellowship events and field trips to all home educators in Onslow and surrounding counties with the purpose of unifying, encouraging, empowering, informing, and equipping.

Alamance County Christian Home Educators (ACCHE)

The purpose of Alamance County Christian Home Educators is to provide information, inspiration, and support to families who exercise their God-given right and responsibility to educate their children. ACCHE is made up of families who enjoy getting together on a regular basis for activities and educational opportunities.

ARCH of Raleigh and Cary are affliated but have difference coordinators and activities depending on the group

Archway Classes is a parent-directed enrichment program for elementary and middle-school aged students in the Alamance County area. Our goal is to enhance your homeschooling by providing fun and educational classes taught from a Christian worldview by parents who are passionate about the subject matter.

Bedford Homeschooling Group

We have field trips, MNOs, encouragement meetings, curriculum meeting, book swap, park days, starting a newsletter, and much more.  We are a Christian group open to all and open to new members in the Bedford subdivision and surrounding areas.  Our membership includes 12 families; children's ages range from 1 to 10.

Berean Baptist Church Homeschool Group

This group helps homeschooling parents connect with and support each other.  We offer monthly meetings to encourage and support homeschooling families.  One does NOT have to be a church member to participate with this group of Christian homeschoolers.

Biltmore Baptist Church (BBC) Homeschoolers

A fun group of over 200 families thrives at Biltmore Baptist Church.  The group provides enrichment classes, field trips, Moms Night Out, etc.  Its purpose and desire is to provide loving encouragement, quality enrichment and social interaction for students, as well as essential support for parents as they develop their children to Christ-like character; enabling them to stand firm in their belief in the teaching of the Bible as the complete and inerrant Word of God, thereby equipping them to glorify the name of Jesus Christ.

BGGHF is a community of Christian families who desire to see their children pursue godly character.  Our goal is to support and encourage parents through the sharing of current information, resources and activities; provide social and educational experiences; and to create service opportunities that help others in need.  This is accomplished at the adult level by developing relationships through parent meetings, group activities/events, and prayer support, and at the student level through group outings, activities and events.

Cabarrus County Home School Association (CCHSA)

The Cabarrus County Home School Association (CCHSA) is a nonprofit, nondenominational, Christian home school support group dedicated to providing tools and encouragement to home educators and their families. Benefits of membership include educational and social opportunities, sharing of resources, updates on legal issues and requirements, group privileges and discounts as well as mentoring and group support.
