Homeschoolers of Holly Springs

The goal of this group is to get homeschool families together in our area for friendship, support, to share information and experiences, as well as a place for our children to socialize with other homeschoolers.

We are based in Holly Springs but we would like to meet other homeschoolers in the surrounding areas - you are welcome to join us. We do require Members to attend at least one event per month. Participation is important for the success of the group. This is a secular group and is based on home education and friendships.

Homeschooling on the Spectrum

Homeschooling on the Spectrum is a *Christian social group for kids with ASD and their siblings based out of Fayetteville, NC.  Our goal is to provide a safe and comfortable environment as well as being sensitive to each child’s needs so that they are able to learn and grow.  Every meeting is designed to teach a social skill to the children through social games and activities and help the children develop friendships with one another.  Parent participation during the meeting and at home will help reinforce these skills.

Kingdom Colors is a very diverse group of homeschooling families from all ethnic/racial, religious/non-religious affiliations and homeschooling methods and curricula.  Kingdom Colors maintains the philosophy that parents have the responsibility of raising and teaching their children according to their beliefs and values in the manner and style of their own choosing.

Learning 4 Life Home Educators

This is an inclusive support group of homeschooling families from the Gaston/Cleveland county areas of North Carolina and all surrounding counties. Our homeschool group is composed mostly of "upper elementary grade" children, but we have various aged children from babies to teenagers. This group is open to anyone regardless of race, religion, home school styles, parenting styles, etc.

Learning Influenced by our Father's Example (LIFE)

Our group is the LIFE homeschool support group out of Dunn.  We meet Tuesdays.  Our month is divided into Inklings literature and fun club the first Tuesday of the month, Enrichment days the 2nd and 3rd Tuesday of the month (the fall focus is NC History and the Spring focus is forensic science) , the 4th Tuesday is a field trip.  We also have socials and parties for the holidays as well as back to school kick-offs, field days, and end of year parties.

Lighthouse is a large homeschoool group which serves the Wake Forest, Raleigh area.  Christian parent support group, lots of kids activities - field trips, sports teams, clubs, yearbooks, graduation.

Lincoln County Home Educators, founded in 1988, is a growing local Christian support group of about 65 families. Our purposes as a group are to offer help and encouragement to area home schoolers and to provide educational, spiritual, and social activities for member families.

NC Homeschool Adventures

NC Homeschool Adventures has been planning field trips for the homeschool community for over six years.  It's a BIG WORLD out there and we love to see as much as we can.  Many of these field trip opportunities will be organized for the Greater Triangle Area.  You can choose to participate as much or as little as you would like.  The trips will be targeted to kids into two groups, K-5 (5 y/o to 11 y/o) and 6th-12th grade (12 y/o to 12th grade).  Many of the trips will include both groups and be broken into separate groups during the field trip.
