The purpose of Richmond County Home Educators is to support families educating their children at home.  Most of us live in Richmond County, North Carolina, but do have members from surrounding counties.  It is not limited to those nearby.  If you want to join us, that's up to you!

River Bend Charlotte Mason Fine Arts Co-op

RBCMFAC meets every other Tuesday from 9:00 - 11:45 AM. All ages together except preschool; parents participate by helping their students.   The 6 subjects covered are Shakespeare, Nature, Picture, Hymn, Composer, and Poetry study.  We meet in Arcadia (northern Davidson county) and are open to all areas, but particularly serve the Davie, Yadkin, western Forsyth area.  There are 3 terms (12 calendar weeks) per year, and new families are welcome to attend an open house at the end of each term.  For 2016-2017, we will meet from Sept 13 - May 23.  Cost is around $20 per term per family.

The Rowan County Home School Association is a Christ-centered homeschool support group.  We offer our members the opportunity to participate in academic programs and social activities that strengthen and promote traditional family values.  Education is a God-given right and the responsibility of parents.

SAFE (Sampson Association of Family Educators)

SAFE is an organization of families who are committed to maintaining educational freedoms and encouraging excellence in home education. It is our purpose to promote and develop home education as a viable educational alternative and to provide encouragement and support to those families. SAFE is operated on the basis of Biblical principles and living faith, welcoming members of all races, nationalities, and religions who will ascribe to our ideals. SAFE is not affiliated with any church or denomination so that it might be a support group for all Sampson area homeschoolers.

The purpose of the SALT is to provide education, guidance, support, and encouragement from a biblical foundation to one another as home educators.

Salt and Light Homeschool

SLHA is a Christian homeschool group in North Raleigh.  Membership is limited to 30 families and provides activities for students as well as encouragement for parents.

Seeds of Promise Family Support Group

Seeds of Promise FSG is a non-profit, non-denominational parent cooperative homeschool family support group founded upon Biblical Judeo-Christian values.  Our members participate in group field trips, co-op courses, and events such as monthly meetings, contests, yearbook, newsletter, community service, and great family fellowship times.  Please contact us for membership fee and more information.

Southeast Middlers at Home (SEMAH)

An inclusive, secular social network for Johnston County and Wake County homeschool families with upper elementary and/or middle school age (9-13yo) children. This network is not meant to take the place of the larger area support groups, but to fill the needs of this specific age group in our area. Of course, siblings of all ages are always welcome, but the focus is on making connections between the older kids. Regular meet-ups will be held in the western Johnston County/eastern Wake County area, with a co-op as a future possibility.

The purpose of this group is to connect homeschooling families in Southeast Guilford County, North Carolina and nearby areas.  We are a secular group, welcoming all walks of life.  This group will be as active or inactive as the members choose to be here.  All members are welcome to form clubs, groups, field trip adventures, etc. as they choose.

Special Blessings

This is not a homeschool group.  It does serve a specific group.  Special Blessings is a non-profit organization for children and adults with disabilities and their families.  Our goal is to educate children, families, and volunteers through support group meetings and community inclusion.  By providing families with information and knowledge they will be empowered to help their children grow to their fullest potential.

Stanly-Montgomery Home School Association (SMHSA)

"SMHSA is a home school group based in Stanly and Montgomery County, but we also have members in Anson and Cabarrus County. We offer opportunities for children age K-12, their younger siblings AND parents to get together at different events throughout the year. These events include, but are not limited to; holiday parties, field trips, monthly skate days, graduation, Moms' fellowship and an annual family picnic."

Our focus is on classes that have components of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math.  Our goal at the STEM Classes of the Triad is glorify God through STEM studies so that ultimately we are training up and encouraging Godly scientists, techies and tinkerers that will create and innovate to benefit and serve others.

STEM Prep Academy: A Homeschool Co-op for Techies

STEM is an acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. These fields are taking the workforce and education by storm!​

Our mission is to use STEM, as a tool, to teach critical, analytical, and out-of-the-box thinking skills. We also utilize a variety of life skills to adequately prepare your students to be self-sufficient adults.
