The Bridge is a drop-off co-op for middle and high schoolers.  We are affiliated with Forsyth Home Educators, and our motto is "Integrity in Education".  We meet in Winston-Salem at Old Town Baptist Church on Fridays from 9-3 for 15 weeks both fall and spring semester. Crusaders Mission Statement: The Crusaders is a Christian organization that has been established to serve our members through fellowship, educational opportunities, and activities. Our desire is to be committed and dedicated to the well being of our families through Christian example, encouragement, and support; all for the Christ's glory. We are an extension of each family's individual school. Participation involves reinforcing family values and Christian principles through conduct.

This group was created to relay information and resources specifically related to homeschooling Autistic children of all ages in our McDowell County and surrounding Western North Carolina areas.

Here, we homeschool while continuing to educate and bring awareness of the answers that are out there for accommodation, inclusion, self-advocacy, compassion and understanding instead of pity or intolerance.

Toe River Christian Homeschoolers is a Christian-based support organization founded on Biblical and Christian values.  T.R.C.H. seeks to further the interests of private home education in Yancey, Michell, and Avery counties in North Carolina through encouragement, social activities, field trips, arts and educational opportunities.  T.R.C.H. is operated on the bases of Biblical principles and living faith, welcoming any homeschooling families who will subscribe to our Christian ideals and guidelines and adhere to our Mission Statement and Code of Character.

Wake Forest Homeschoolers (WFHS) is an inclusive, secular homeschool support group whose primary purpose is to provide our children with enrichment and social opportunities with other homeschoolers.  We are here to share ideas about homeschooling and to act as a source of support to homeschooling parents.  We meet in Wake Forest, NC and have families from several surrounding communities such as North Raleigh, Zebulon, Franklinton, Wendell, Spring Lake, Louisburg and more!

Welcome Homeschoolers

We are a homeschool support group for families of all faiths, but with a Christian emphasis.  Our support group provides opportunities for educational field trips, service projects, and support for mothers.  We have a leadership team which oversees activities; however, the group depends on the help of all families for the planning of those activities. Currently, approximaely 80-90 families are members.  $25 fee

West Lincoln Home Educators was founded in 2003.
We are a support group for local Christian families who educate their children at home. Our purpose as a group is to offer help and encouragement to area home educators. Westminster Classical Academy

Located in Gastonia, (Gaston County), Westminster Classical Academy (GCA) offers a classical 7th-12th grade (Starting fall 2014 with 7th-8th) education in a strong Christian environment, welcoming homeschooled students to enroll. Classes are held Mondays/Wednesdays/Fridays.

WINGS (Wise Instructors Need Group Support)

WINGS exists to provide support and encouragement to homeschool parents primarily in the north Charlotte, University, and Lake Norman areas of North Carolina. Through our interactive forums, members are able not only to share information pertaining to homeschooling, but to also build relationships online that will further enrich those same friendships "offline".

YMCHE (Young Macon County Home Educators)

Meets 3 or 4 times during the school year, usually for a Mom's Night Out. Have a curriculum review meeting in the Spring where we meet to show curriculum we use and like or even what we didn't like! Mainly for parents of students 12 years old & under, but any homeschooling parents are welcome!  We meet to encourage each other on our homeschooling journey!
