Our activities are best suited for elementary aged children with some events for children of all ages. Events include fun field trips, group hikes, play dates, volunteer opportunities, and much more. We welcome all homeschoolers regardless of race, religion, handicap, or political affiliation. We are located in Alamance County. Families from surrounding counties are welcome to join as well. We are based in Patrick County, VA but have member families from all around the region. We meet at parks for social time, planned activities, and an occasional field trip or outing. We offer a variety of activities to enrich our children's educational and social lives.

Since formation of EMMA (Enriching, Mentoring, Mastering, and Achieving) in 1996, the classes have functioned as a Christ-centered support system designed to be a helpful aid to homeschooling families. We strive to offer classes that are both affordable and of a quality to truly enhance the homeschool programs of the participating families. The parents are clearly recognized as being fully and solely responsible for their child’s education, while the classes are designed to provide a framework for a course of study. It remains the sole responsibility of the students’ parents to meet and comply with any and all requirements of North Carolina ’s Department of Non-Public Education. We are a support system, not a school.

The LunchBunch Learners Homeschoolers is a group of open-minded individuals who live in the Triad region of North Carolina. We share a common goal of successfully homeschooling our children. NC Homeschool Adventures have been planning field trips for the homeschool community for over six years. It's a BIG WORLD out there and we love to see as much as we can. Many of these field trip opportunities will be organized for the Greater Triangle Area. You can choose to participate as much or as little as you would like. The trips will be targeted to kids into two groups, K-5 (5 y/o to 11 y/o) and 6th – 12th grade (12 y/o- 12th grade). Many of the trips will include both groups and be broken into separate groups during the field trip. We will do from one to two field trips per month some free and some will cost money. Most are in the GREATER TRIANGLE AREA but they span across the country.

We will also have offer some clubs for people in the Lee County Area. The clubs for 2012-2013 year will include Literary Club, Lego, Club, American Girl Club, NC Junior Historians and Geography Club. The Geography Club will participate in a the Geography Bee. We will also offer specialty classes from time to time.

Triad Homeschoolers is a support group for homeschoolers of all walks of life. We have families from all over the Triad and most activities are in Greensboro, High Point and Kernersville. The majority of children in our group are middle school age and younger. We are an active group and require participation from members every 4 months.

Veritas was begun in 2003 to provide weekly tutorials from an unapologetically Christian worldview to enrich your homeschool environment. We are located at Antioch Community Church in Elon, NC. We serve Alamance County primarily, but have students from surrounding counties as well. We meet on Wednesday mornings during the school year and offer homeschool classes, such as Biology, Chemistry, Physical Science, Writing, Literature, History, Math, Beginning Orchestra, Sewing, Web Design, Computer Applications, Christian Worldview, Government, Economics, and more.
