GREENHOUSE Magazine

GREENHOUSE, a quarterly magazine, is NCHE's flagship publication. 

GREENHOUSE continues the tradition of the Greenhouse Report, the newsletter of NCHE, whose name was chosen to represent the type of care homeschooling parents are able to give to their children. Children are lovingly "tended" in a protected and nurturing environment until they are sufficiently mature to go out and take a place of service in the world.

Regular Features include:

  • An update from an NCHE Board member
  • Words of encouragement
  • Celebrations of the accomplishments of our homeschooled students.
  • Methods of homeschooling
  • Discussions concerning educational freedom and alternatives
  • Spotlighting aspects of NC that make it a great place to practice home education

Print subscriptions are $15 and include an annual special Graduate issue. 

We have made subscribing easier. There are 3 ways:

  1. Via Paypal: Go to GREENHOUSE Online and click on the Paypal subscribe button.
  2. Via the NCHE membership management process. Go to NCHE.com and follow the directions on the home page.  If you are not a member, please join us. Your membership fee is a donation of your choosing and helps NCHE reach more people with the joy of home education.
  3. Via Phone: Call the NCHE office, (919) 790-1100.
