NCHE Conference 2013

In thirty years of speaking at homeschool conferences, I had never attended the NCHE conference until this year. I was blown away. The cost of the conference was underpriced; the location was central; the vendor hall was full of more than anyone could expect; NCHE trustees were all engaged and super helpful; volunteers were friendly and knowledgeable; the facility was convenient in every respect, and the lineup of speakers was unparalleled.

NCHE Scholarships Awarded

In December 2011, forty-eight homeschool seniors sent application packets to be considered for one of six scholarships that NCHE administers. Transcripts, SAT or ACT scores, two letters of recommendation and a personal essay were required from each student. A committee carefully examined each packet, ranking each one. Those rankings were then compiled and the winners were chosen. We at NCHE are blessed to be able to administer these scholarships each year, and it is amazing to see the level of scholarship and talent among the applicants.
