It features Prince Siegfried and a lovely swan princess named Odette. Under the spell of a sorcerer, Odette spends her days as a swan swimming on a lake of tears and her nights in her beautiful human form.  The couple quickly falls in love. As in most fairy tales, things are not that easy and the sorcerer has more tricks to play. You won’t want to miss the spectacular choreography by Ib Andersen, accompanied by Tchaikovsky’s hauntingly beautiful score. NCHE has obtained a limited number of tickets to the Thursday, May 9, 2024, performance to be held at the Knight Theater, 430 South Tryon Street, Charlotte. The show starts promptly at 10:30. We must be in our seats by 10:00 a.m.–so plan to be parked no later than 9:30.  Tickets ordered by 11:59 p.m. on Friday, December 29, 2023 will be just $14.50–while supply lasts.  Tickets purchased after that date, if available, will be $17.75. Tickets are transferable to others for the same day’s performance but are non-refundable.  NOTE: Due to fire codes, every person (even lap babies) must have a purchased ticket so the theater is always able to tell the first responders how many to account for in an emergency situation.
