Vocational Philosophy: Understanding God’s Plan
What will you be when you grow up? Where do you see yourself in 5 years? What is your calling? These questions often cause fear and confusion and our answers are often influenced by pride and misguided cultural beliefs. The enemy is heavily invested in spreading lies that keep us from understanding God’s plan. In this talk, we will explore God’s original design for work, how The Fall has changed things, and what that means for us.
Levi Mason is an NCHE homeschool alum and lifelong homeschool enthusiast. He is a son of Spencer and Debbie Mason and has long volunteered at Thrive! He lives in Durham, NC, with his wife Jessica and has worked for 15+ years as a software developer. In 2024, Levi quit his job in big tech and began building a faith-based software platform for churches. He is passionate about questioning conventions and searching for truth.
