What happens when your children don’t fit the mold? What happens when books and worksheets send your child into orbit? Join Julia Nalle, mother to three adopted and two biological kids, co-writer of BiblioPlan and teacher for 40-plus years, as she facilitates an honest and heartfelt discussion for parents who are scratching their heads over their struggling or special needs learners. In this session, she will discuss some of the reasons why your child may be struggling and share practical, fun strategies for helping your child.

Julia Nalle and her husband Rob live in a book-filled little house in the woods of central Virginia with their children. If you spend more than a moment with Julia, you’ll find that she’s passionate about Christ, her family, adoption and Classical/Charlotte Mason home education. Julia has a BS in early childhood education and a MA in religion with emphasis in O.T. studies, counseling and pastoral ministries. Julia and her husband Rob write and produce BiblioPlan, a Classical history and literature curriculum. With numerous years of experience in classroom settings, homeschooling her children, and tutoring children with special needs Julia has encountered it all. Julia has learned how to adapt, adjust and creatively engage children on a wide range of spectrums. In her sessions, she loves to share her heart while giving numerous practical and easy ways to teach and inspire children.
