We will cover all the common major testing options, the differences, the pros and cons of each, getting info from the results, as well as tips for preparing your children for testing so you can make the best choice for your family. Note: This is not about the college tests (SAT, ACT) but the testing required by NC law.
Dawn Frink has served the homeschool community in Wake County and surrounding areas for more than fifteen years, administering the Woodcock-Johnson assessment. Supporting families throughout their homeschooling journey continues to be a source of deep purpose and fulfillment for her. In January 2023, Dawn and her husband, Jim, became the owners of Triangle Education Assessments. Since then, they have enjoyed connecting with homeschool families across the nation through both online and paper-and-pencil standardized testing services. After homeschooling their three children from kindergarten through twelfth grade, Dawn has watched them continue into higher education, marriage, and parenthood.
