We’ll share what we learned along our homeschool journey when we took God’s slower “Train of Wisdom” and enjoyed the amazing experiences He brought to us!
Don and Renita Miller have been teaching science for 30 years. They desire to make science both deep and fun for kids of all ages and use it to glorify God. Don majored in biology and has a master’s degree in curriculum development. He has worked with the VP of Apple Computers, heading up the science and math online curriculum. He and Renita are directors of Crosswired Science (5000 families) for students ages 4-18. Don has a Ted Talk on “Teaching Deep Science to Children of All Ages.” They have taught over 10,000 students science face-to-face (K-12) in classes & in summer camp settings. Renita is the mom of 8 homeschooled children—the 4 oldest: CPA, teacher, nurse, full-time ministry. She holds a bachelor’s degree. She has written magazine articles and has 12 years of product reviewing for Old Schoolhouse Magazine. Renita has led homeschool co-ops in AR/TX & been on staff for THSC.
