Do you know what apologetics is? Most adults don’t know. But most people think they know. In this talk, you will know what apologetics is and what it isn’t. You will know what it can do and what it can’t do. This is the first step in honing the skills of spiritual combat.

Renton Rathbun has been a classroom teacher for over twenty-five years. His teaching experience has included both secular and Christian colleges and universities. He and his wife homeschooled their oldest son, Daniel, and are now homeschooling their two littles, Jude and Olivia. Renton has spoken for homeschool conventions and podcasts all over the nation. Renton holds a BS in English education and an MA in interpretative speech from Bob Jones University. He has also received an MFA in creative writing from Minnesota State University, an MA in philosophy from the University of Toledo, a ThM from Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary, and a PhD in apologetics from Westminster Theological Seminary. Renton serves as the director of the Center for Biblical Worldview in Greenville, SC.
