NCHE Graduation Ceremony Announcements

Create personalized announcements to celebrate your homeschool graduate! You can order professionally printed announcements through many local and online printing services, or create your own design and have it printed affordably at a local copy or print shop. Most printers offer a variety of cardstock, finishes, and coordinating envelopes, and many allow you to upload your finished design directly through their website.

Below is a downloadable sample of a traditional formal graduation announcement that you can personalize with your graduate’s information.

Printing and Personalization Guidelines

• The sample is designed for a 5″ × 7″ announcement. Choose a quality cardstock in white, ivory, ecru, or another color that complements your design, along with matching A7 envelopes.
• Download the sample and edit it with the graduate’s name, homeschool name, and other appropriate information.
• Once you know where your graduate’s ceremony will be held, select the appropriate location: Winston Main Hall or Salem Main Hall.
• The original sample uses Savoye Let. If that font is not available on your computer, you may substitute a similar formal script font, such as Monotype Corsiva.
• When your announcement is complete, save or export it as a PDF. PDF is the preferred format for professional printing because it helps preserve the fonts, layout, and sizing of your design.
• When ordering or printing, select a finished size of 5″ × 7″ and review the printer’s digital proof carefully before submitting your order.
• You can upload the PDF directly to most online or local printing services. If you are taking the file to a print shop in person, save it to a USB drive or use the shop’s online file-upload option.
