This workshop is dedicated to our responsibility to politics and service. We will specifically speak to duty and opportunity among Christians and homeschooling from our own personal experience serving God and the public. We will also touch on historical precedence for service as Christians. We will have a great discussion and question and answer opportunities.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tJeff Zenger is a current member of the NC House and is a homeschool dad who has raised 4 kids and founded and run several businesses over his career. Prior to that, he served in Urban Ministry in Baltimore City to teenagers for 13 years. He has served 4 terms on the Lewisville Town Council, chaired the town planning board, been an elder in his church, been on missions’ trips, small group leader and served on many boards and committees. Rep. Zenger is currently serving in his second term in the NC House. Rep. Zenger\u2019s first challenge to engage politics came at the 2009 NCHE Homeschool Conference in Winston Salem. His interesting and varied background gives him keen insight into kingdom politics, homeschooling and public service.\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n

\n\t\t\tJeff Zenger es miembro actual de NC House y es un padre que educa en casa, ha criado a 4 hijos y ha fundado y dirigido varios negocios a lo largo de su carrera. Antes de eso, sirvi\u00f3 en el Ministerio Urbano en la ciudad de Baltimore para adolescentes durante 13 a\u00f1os. Ha servido durante 4 mandatos en el Concejo Municipal de Lewisville, presidi\u00f3 la junta de planificaci\u00f3n urbana, fue anciano en su iglesia, particip\u00f3 en viajes misioneros, fue l\u00edder de grupos peque\u00f1os y sirvi\u00f3 en muchas juntas y comit\u00e9s. El representante Zenger se encuentra actualmente en su segundo mandato en la C\u00e1mara de Representantes de Carolina del Norte. El primer desaf\u00edo del Representante Zenger para involucrarse en la pol\u00edtica se produjo en la Conferencia de Educaci\u00f3n en el Hogar NCHE de 2009 en Winston Salem.
