Join NCHE for a one-hour, fun-filled family concert with your North Carolina Symphony! Experience music from Holst’s The Planets, E.T., and beyond, taking you and your family on a journey through the wonders of the universe. Jonathan Taylor Rush will be conducting. In addition to the performance, families will enjoy the symphony “petting zoo” in which children (and grown-ups!) may handle and try out musical instruments as well as have the opportunity to participate in a space-themed costume contest!  Fun for families of all ages!

Schedule of events:  Arrival/Check-in 11-11:30 a.m.
Pre-concert activities: 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.
Concert: 1-2 p.m.

NCHE has secured discounted seat prices for homeschool families in the Orchestra section of the Meymandi Concert Hall of the Martin Marietta Performing Arts Center in Raleigh:  Adult admission $27; Children (3-18) admission $26.50; Lap babies 2 and younger: Free.  Tickets must be purchased by 11:59 a.m. on Friday, September 13 or while supply lasts.  Tickets will be distributed upon arrival on October 5.  Tickets are transferable to others for the same performance but are non-refundable.
