There may not be a more important part of any family\u2019s daily schedule than time together in the Word and prayer. Mark and Cindy raised 7 children to adulthood and started having family devotions when their first child was just a toddler. They still start their day with family devotions, just the two of them. Come and hear Mark share some reasons why family devotions are important and how to start having them now, whether your children are toddlers or all grown and gone!\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tMark<\/strong>\u00a0Fox\u00a0<\/strong>and his wife, Cindy, homeschooled 7 children, graduating the last in 2018. Mark pastors Antioch Community Church in Elon and teaches public speaking at Elon University. Since he wrote a book for men (A Faithful Man<\/em>) in 2012, he has traveled to seven countries to encourage men to lead as prophet, priest, protector and provider in their homes. Mark wrote a middle grade book this year called\u00a0Growing Up Tommy<\/em>, a story of a boy trying his best to make it safely through third grade. He hopes to find an agent for the book in 2021. Besides writing, Mark loves reading, running and any opportunity to go with his wife to the beach.\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n

Mark en Cindy voedden 7 kinderen op tot volwassenheid en begonnen met gezinsdevotie toen hun eerste kind nog maar een peuter was. Ze beginnen hun dag nog steeds met gezinsdevotie, alleen zij twee\u00ebn. Mark is predikant van de Antioch Community Church in Elon en geeft les in spreken in het openbaar aan de Elon University. Sinds hij in 2012 een boek voor mannen schreef (A Faithful Man), is hij naar zeven landen gereisd om mannen aan te moedigen om in hun huizen leiding te geven als profeet, priester, beschermer en kostwinner. Mark schreef dit jaar een boek voor de middelbare school, Growing Up Tommy, een verhaal over een jongen die zijn best doet om veilig door de derde klas te komen. Hij hoopt in 2021 een agent voor het boek te vinden.
