This workshop is dedicated to our responsibility to politics and service. We will specifically speak to duty and opportunity among Christians and homeschooling from our own personal experience serving God and the public. We will also touch on historical precedence for service as Christians. We will have a great discussion and question and answer opportunities.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tJeff Zenger is a current member of the NC House and is a homeschool dad who has raised 4 kids and founded and run several businesses over his career. Prior to that, he served in Urban Ministry in Baltimore City to teenagers for 13 years. He has served 4 terms on the Lewisville Town Council, chaired the town planning board, been an elder in his church, been on missions’ trips, small group leader and served on many boards and committees. Rep. Zenger is currently serving in his second term in the NC House. Rep. Zenger\u2019s first challenge to engage politics came at the 2009 NCHE Homeschool Conference in Winston Salem. His interesting and varied background gives him keen insight into kingdom politics, homeschooling and public service.\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n

Deze workshop is gewijd aan onze verantwoordelijkheid ten opzichte van politiek en dienstverlening. We zullen specifiek spreken over plichten en kansen onder christenen en thuisonderwijs vanuit onze eigen persoonlijke ervaring met het dienen van God en het publiek. We zullen ook ingaan op de historische prioriteit voor dienstbetoon als christenen. We zullen een geweldige discussie en vraag- en antwoordmogelijkheden hebben.\n\t\t

\n\t\t\tJeff Zenger is een huidig lid van het NC House en is een thuisonderwijsvader die vier kinderen heeft grootgebracht en tijdens zijn carri\u00e8re verschillende bedrijven heeft opgericht en geleid. Daarvoor diende hij 13 jaar lang bij Urban Ministry in Baltimore City voor tieners. Hij heeft vier termijnen in de gemeenteraad van Lewisville gezeten, was voorzitter van de gemeenteraad, was ouderling in zijn kerk, was op zendingsreizen, leidde kleine groepen en was lid van veel besturen en commissies. Rep. Zenger dient momenteel in zijn tweede termijn in het NC House. De eerste uitdaging van vertegenwoordiger Zenger om zich met de politiek bezig te houden, kwam op de NCHE Homeschool Conference in Winston Salem in 2009.
