Friday, April 20, 2018, North Carolina Transportation Museum, 411 S Salisbury Avenue, Spencer, NC

Join with NCHE families from across the state at the NC Transportation Museum’s Learning to Fly Day,  April 20!  In addition to the trains, the cars, and the roundhouse always present at the Museum, this day will feature flight simulators, helicopter fly-ins, Wright brothers history and special speakers addressing careers in aviation.  There will be hands-on stations for students to build and take home transportation related crafts.

Our group admission includes all the special stations, a train ride and time to tour all of the museum exhibits. Although the special stations close at 2 pm, we are able to stay until the museum closes at 5.

Participants may check in between 8:30 and 9:30; tour time opens at 10.  All admissions for adults or students are $6.50 each; children 2 and under are free.  Pre-registration required and space is limited.  Registrations are transferable but non-refundable.  Registration deadline is noon on April 18 or while supply lasts.
