Tiger World is a different kind of zoo.  Teaching people about the more than 54 species of exotic animals they have on site and promoting awareness about endangered and threatened species of the world is the passion of Tiger World’s leadership.  Guides lead visitors throughout the preserve informing about each animal and providing an up-close experience. You will see the animals in a natural setting and have the opportunity to observe them running, playing, swimming, eating, sleeping, and interacting with their handlers.

Recently added to the Tiger World experience are Parakeet Jungle and Wild Adventure Mini Golf.  Parakeet Jungle is an interactive, walk-through habitat where you can feed and mingle with Australian Parakeets.  Wild Adventure Mini Golf is a mini-golf adventure safari around the world.  At every hole, you will experience a different species of animal that is also on display at Tiger World. Some holes even have integrated real animal exhibits!

Please join NCHE on this outdoor, rain or shine field trip to Tiger World.  Choose from two tour times:  10 a.m. or 2 p.m.     Check-in for the morning tour is 9:25-9:50; check-in for the afternoon tour will be 12:30-1:30.  You will be permitted to re-visit areas of special interest on your own.  If you want to bring your own lunch, picnic areas will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

PRICING:  $7.75 for adults and children 2 and older–a significant savings over the off-the-street pricing.
Children under 2 are admitted free.
OPTIONAL UPGRADES:   Parakeet Jungle:  $3.33
Parakeet Jungle + 9 holes of Wild Adventure Mini Golf:  $6.66
Feed cups may be purchased on-site.

Other things to note:
1.  No pets or service animals are permitted on-site.
2.  Accessibility:  Tiger World has paved pathways where guests may use wheelchairs and other wheeled carriers.  Please consider that not all of the zoo is paved, and much of the area is a nature preserve with natural earth paths and irregular surfaces.
