Stephanie Allen-Rosen
My name is Stephanie—I’m a Jesus-loving wife, mother, and former US Navy sailor living in Currituck County since 2021. My husband Ren and I have homeschooled our two children since 2019, with one graduating in 2024 and the other set to graduate in 2026. Homeschooling has been a rewarding, faith-filled journey, and I’m passionate about encouraging families to find creative, confident, and individualized approaches that work for them.
Outside of homeschooling, I enjoy painting, crocheting, scrapbooking, and worship ministry, where I serve through dance, song, and flagging. I also help lead others to healing through Christ with Living Waters, a program of Desert Stream Ministries. I’m honored to serve as a regional liaison and look forward to supporting fellow homeschooling families.
North Carolinians for Home Education (NCHE) exists to help parents homeschool with confidence and joy by protecting your right to homeschool, equipping you with resources and encouragement, and connecting you with families and groups across the state.
One of the best ways to find ongoing support is by joining a local homeschool group in your area. Below you’ll find a list of groups in your region, which have chosen to be listed on this page. While we are so grateful for the support these groups provide, being listed on this page is not an endorsement by NCHE.
If you’re a homeschool group leader, please take a moment to ensure your group’s listing is accurate. If your group isn’t listed, we encourage you to complete the Homeschool Group Form so families in your area can find and connect with you.
